Art Working at Home Studio

I am finding it hard to focus when the methods of communication involve technology and data connections. Cellular conversations audio, text, video… etc.

Drink water. I let go by dancing. I learned a long time ago that my voice is not my main form communication. I enjoy movement although I shy away from attention. Play some music and let the music carry you away. Enjoy a dance party. Enjoy the spatial arts.

I find it difficult to stay connected via video, recording, or internet-based resource. Even the music I am listening to is played by streaming or am/fm radio. Is it not better to go to the source – stream – or make your own music?

Find an old treasure and rediscover it with your family. Teach your children about you. May they discover who they are along the journey.

Make a list of the books you brought from school. What did you learn from them? Would you recommend it to someone else?

If you are looking up resources and looking through the windows of the world web, some links that have brought me joy will be listed below. If you dig deep into past posts here, you’ll most likely find plenty of idea dumps and random links. Apologies, as you know that the internet is a living thing.

I love traveling. I love art. Virtual museum visits. Experiment with games that let you play creatively. Find a book, read it, and reproduce it or improve it. What is it missing? Pick up a tool and simply doodle or draw an observation. Write your thoughts down. Send mail. Read lots of books.

Design a solution for a problem you have noticed or experienced.

You’ll find plenty of lists and resources online. Direct your search. I advise installing and Ad-block extension to avoid accidental clicks and marketing. More sites & interactive activities (please tell me which ones you enjoy).

I am currently working on graphic design skills with Adobe Spark.

Recommended for Kindergarten: Kandinsky

Work with your class to create a musical composition through lines and shapes.

Give each student a turn to leave their mark.

Quick, Draw – I have shared this with students. Give each student a turn to try the 20 second drawing challenge. Study the results at the end and play again. To give more students the opportunity to play, I’ll invite them each to get their own white board and dry-erase marker to play along until their turn is up.
